How is this odd?

[/ QUOTE ]

given his read, his play is odd.. limping w/ 6 8 on the button....

Solid players don't overlimp 86 on the button?

[/ QUOTE ]

uhhh... i didn't think so, do they?

if i'm playing 6 8 on the button, its going to be for a raise, i'm not limping in w/ that hand - but thats just me...

probably why i'm not a solid player

I guess it depends on what "solid" means. Some people use the term to describe a good player; others use it to describe a rock. In live games, there are usually so many donks that I'm looking for excuses to play any two on the button. I don't think I've been described as "solid" by either definition, though....

Other than the river check behind, I'd probably play it the same way villain did on all streets.
