Default Re: High card win %

I'm at 20.31% at 10/20. Have no idea what this means, but I suspect that in the more aggressive games, one's percentage would naturally climb a bit compared to more passive games.

For those of you worrying about how much you've lost on high card / one pair hands, unless you've checked the little box saying "show only hands not folded" at the upper right of the display, PT will show amount lost for all hands that ended up as high card / pair, etc., whether or not you saw a SD. For example, you open A9o, get three-bet and the BB comes along. Flop is KQ2 all [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] and you have no heart. PF 3-better leads, BB C/Rs and you fold. PFR and BB see a SD (no A or 9 comes) and PT tallys this hand as a loss of 3 SBs for you as a high card hand. If you want a better frame of reference for your judgment in when to see a SD with high card only, be sure to check the box.

Edit: Another example: you're in the BB with 74o. It is raised and called before you and you fold pre-flop. The hand goes to SD without a 7 or 4 falling, and PT records this as a loss of 1 SB for your "high card" hand. If a 4 hits anywhere, your 1 SB loss is recorded as a loss on a "one pair" hand. Check the box.
