Aside from that, interesting hypothetical. I hated my job and took 3 weeks off to have fun playing poker. Went to a casino, played a $100 buy in and won $4,000. Not worked full-time since.
Is it doable? Sure. Take your cash, bonus whore and best of luck to you. It won't be easy, you run a high risk of ruin if you are planning to pay for anything just yet. If oyu live with your parents, have no kids, aren't dating and don't spend much money....it increases your chances. Still, not going to be easy from $500. Don't sell the assets yet!
