Re: Address bar is gone, help!
Between the menu bar and the main browser window are the toolbars. Do you see anything there marked "Address"? You may have it minimized.
Again, in the View menu make sure that Toolbars > Lock the Toolbars is unchecked and then increase the area for Address by sliding the border to the right
