Default I lost my way on this hand

This was my first hand at the table.

Party Poker 0.50/1 Hold'em (6 max, 5 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx

Preflop: Hero is BB with K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
UTG calls, MP calls, Button calls, SB completes, Hero checks.

Flop: (5 SB) K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (5 players)
SB checks, Hero checks, UTG bets, MP calls, Button calls, SB folds, Hero calls.

My plan here was to check raise but once UTG bet and had two callers, I got a tad confused. Perhaps I should have bet out, but I didn't think it protected my hand at all. Raising after the bet/calls seem a bit too loose. So I thought I would try it on the turn if a safe card came.

Turn: (4.50 BB) T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (4 players)
Hero checks, UTG bets, MP folds, Button calls, Hero calls.

It didn't but I still hung around anyway

River: (7.50 BB) 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (3 players)
Hero checks, UTG bets, Button raises, Hero folds, UTG calls.

Here I hit two pair but the button raise looked liked a slowplayed flush so I folded my two pair here.

Final Pot: 11.50 BB

With that, I'll take my whippin.
