Default Live vs Online SSNL

Hi All,

What adjustments need to be made when playing live NL ring games in a B&M casino?

I typically 4-table the $50 NL full ring games at UB and sometimes Party and Stars also. I'm over-rolled at the moment and plan to move up to the $100 full ring and maybe check out the 6 max games (another topic entirely). I'm a winning player after my first 70,000 hands or so, although I still need to increase my BB/100 quite a bit. I think I play the classic Tight / Aggressive strategy which works good when multi-tabling low stakes NL. I’m about 14% / 3.

I'll be playing 1/2 NL in AC this week. I imagine there will be a lot more Fancy Play Syndrome from players. I figure this is a natural result when people play a single table at a time and see fewer hands per hour. People get bored and want to play it up, right?

Based on this assumption I’m thinking:

1) Tight is still right, but I should try to see more cheap flops when possible and position allows. I’ll have better post flop skill than many of the tourists and total amateurs.

2) Well, no PT stats when live. Ugh! Can’t rely on notes either. Need to put more thought into remembering players’ previous actions.

3) Attack the fish and avoid big pots with the solid players. This isn’t really an adjustment since it is important in both live and online play.

Any suggestions?

Many thanks,
jenson
