We tried all of the above in the Borgata NL game, not only did they not allow the straddle to be live, most of the dealers/players had not even heard of it!!
This is/was a very depressing time in the poker world...

Oh, believe me, we did this, but its not nearly as much fun bc you cant pop it again when it gets called around to you.
It takes the bite, as well as the fun out of the art of straddling.
