First, you can't assume your opponent is on AA-JJ. The range is surely bigger, at least AK, but in some cases he may have tried with 22-99, AQ, or worse.

Second, if he does have a higher pocket pair, and you know him to be a rock, why exactly do you think a fold is inappropriate? What do you think are the odds to spike a 10 on the flop? Think he won't bet?

Third, you failed to include stack sizes, which is important.

Fourth, it is unlikely I'm making such a small bet on the flop.

Finally, if i had made such a small flop bet, I'm still betting big on the turn. If it's set over set, I'll say nh and move on. Folding will cost you more in the long run.
