Default Re: steamboatin\'s Vegas trip report cryptic and results oriented.

Next trip, I plan to stay and play at the Bellagio. There was lots of action and I didn't encounter any grumpines.

I really liked the Wynn until I got mad at them. If I ever learn to play NL, it will be Bally's. That was hands down the worse group of NL players on the planet. Bally's doens't comp for poker play and there are no jackpots or promotions so there are very few locals. I dropped over $400 in that game but I suck at NL and I could have just as easily been up $1,000. My NL experience is limited but when your all in gets called by someone with a gutshot straight draw, that is a pretty good game.

Like most poker questions, the answer is, it depends. If I wanted to play, $2-4, I would never leave the Luxor. I like to play $6-12 and up to $10-20 so the Bellagio seemed to be the best choice for me.

Next trip, I want to play at the Mirage. The Venicitian is opening a room and that will be on my list of places to play.
