Canon Powershots are nice but have terrible lag beteween depressing the button and image capture - almost a second.
I was sold on them previously but that really pissed me off - you never get a good even semi-action shot.
I'm now going for a Sony DSC-W1, cos it has nice fast response.
review here ...the black version looks cool too. Note the carl zeiss lens too.
