I'm not sure if this helps, but I agree with the previous poster that that particular step was incorrect.


sqrt(-1/1) = sqrt(-1)/sqrt(1), but sqrt(1/-1) is - sqrt(1)/sqrt(-1) not sqrt(1)/sqrt(-1).
