I am pretty sure that the demographic of people that would watch televised poker (male, 12+, etc.) are the same demographic of people that watch sports. And guess what, televised poker will never be as entertaining as sports, and will probably be gone when the fad ends.

Dude, Golf is on TV all the time. And it sucks. So does bowling. And for the love of God, do you realize people watch Cricket in parts of this world?
