Guidelines were 'particularly horrible circumstances' (or something to that effect), torture was involved, (we deemed psychological torture of the mother, she had to listen to her children being attacked while she bled out upstairs), crime was during the commission of another felony, some other stuff I don't recall.

(I was fairly PO'd to end up on the jury myself, I was #12 and believe I was a defense pick after prosecution ran out of 'dings' as I had a fairly anti-law enforcement background... needless to say it backfired on the defense)
