This is more of a search for second opinions of something I once said. Game was small stakes Stud Hi/Lo, I was heads up with some guy. It was our second hand and on our first I think i folded right out the gate or on 4th.

Anyway, he's showing low on 3rd and shows another low on 4th and immediately started pumping the pot. I had practically nothing but called him all the way. After the hand we split the pot, he made low somwhere around 6th & I won high with something stupid like a pair of 7's.

Conversation:

Him: ???
Me: I wanted to see your cards
Him: o.k.

For the record, the guy was not an ass. In fact, I think that was all he ever said. Further I was being completly serious. I just wanted to confirm he was betting his low draw on fourth and continued to fire on 5th.

But I still wonder how i would take it if somebody said to me "I just wanted to see your cards" after a string of bad or seemingly poor calls.
