I make sure I'm well rested, get some exercise and eat well so I'll be at my best. Booze at the table is out. The typical player has no concept of any of this. They run themselves into the ground and virtually guarantee they'll lose. Amazing.

I am all for drinking and I can/will try to drink anyone under the table. But when it comes to poker, I am strictly business. The only time I will have a drink is at the end of a long winning session. Otherwise, no drinking for me. But yea, it always surprises me to see drunk guys playing with their money.
