I think it depends on the buy in. I have always preferred PLO to O/8 (although I am rather pretty terrible in both cases) and would like an alternative to hold'em. If the price is right and I have the option I will definitely play the next time I get to LC.

Sign up on the Big-Games board, there should be a hand written list for Pot Limit Omaha. Ask a floor person if you don't see it. Or call the poker floor and have them sign you up. The game can't get started if no one signs up.
Once there are enough players, we can advocate a smallish capped buyin.
