I look forward to hearing your explanation for why getting all-in preflop with AA in a cash game is bad.

god you are a [censored] idiot, I'm not sure what limits you play, but in a game like 5/10NL, especially in vegas, you will not get heads up with a short stack post flop against monster stacks and laggy players.

Lets just say you're dealt AA on the button, UTG opens for the standard $50, MP makes it $150, CO calls, now what (you can push and make $200, min raise, or smooth call)...limiting your options this pot will most likely go 4 ways so your AA against 3 random hands makes you a 45% fav at best, this is less than a coinflip...if you're up against a bunch of low/mid suited connectors, you drop down to approx 35% fav.

I never said it's bad to get your money in with aces but this is a cash game and you should afford to be playing correctly on all streets, not just before the flop and then make an all in postflop b/c your essentially pot committed.

First of all against 4 random hands, AA is a 62% favorite according to Pokerstove:

equity (%) win (%) tie (%)
Hand 1: 62.4208 % 62.26% 00.17% { AA }
Hand 2: 08.5176 % 08.28% 00.23% { random }
Hand 3: 15.3807 % 15.03% 00.35% { random }
Hand 4: 13.6810 % 13.15% 00.53% { random }

So if you put in 200 against 3 other players, your EV would be about 480...yeah that really sucks.

But even if your AA is against more normal hands like:

Hand 1: 49.9132 % 49.86% 00.05% { AA }
Hand 2: 15.9254 % 15.87% 00.05% { KK }
Hand 3: 15.4578 % 15.41% 00.05% { QJs }
Hand 4: 18.7036 % 18.65% 00.05% { 87s }

It still has about 50% equity, which means that in the long run you will double up.

So again, what is your point?
