Didn't the Yankees see the game where every player in the Boston dugout was on the top step, except Nomar?
I thought maybe they saw that game, since it was in Yankee Stadium (the day Jeter ate a third-row chair to get a pop foul).
Because if they saw that performance, they'd conclude that he's not all that into winning (you can bet Theo saw it).
I hated to see Clemens go to the Evil Empire. Same with Boggs. But if they want Nomar, they can have him.
Funny how a fan's attitude can change, once he gets an 86-year-old monkey off his back.
