Be careful. Some banks will start charging you for leaving an account dormant like that.
KeyBank, for example, once owned me with this tactic.
I had a KeyBank account as a student, then when I moved away from college, I set up a new account at a different bank. I kept the KeyBank open with like $3 in it.
They didn't have my new address, and I had pretty much forgotten about the account, so when they tried to notify me that they were going to start charging me $3/month I never got the letters.
Some time later I got word when it had gone into collections [img]/images/graemlins/shocked.gif[/img]
I lost about $40 and probably nicked my credit, too. Bitches.
