Also villians raise could have been a flush draw as well, which would make raising the correct play. I agree my turn bet is horrible, I let him get away from what was likely a set. What line would you take on the turn?

Prob C/R or c/c and lead river. Hope the flop raise looks like you're trying to protect a vulnerable hand, but you got "scared" when a draw hit. You said he's LAG, maybe he'll try to push you off your hand. If not I'd lead river for 1/2 pot.
