Default Re: The Only Interesting Hand I Played Last Night

I'm having a hard time putting her on a hand that beats you.

That's less concerning to me than the fact that it's highly unlikely he gets called by any hand he beats other than maybe QJ or J9, neither of which are likely to have checked the flop.

I pushed because there is no hand I don't beat that a semi-aware player is checking on that flop - Unless perhaps, the player is insanely good/imaginative. I pushed because if a 9 or Q comes on the river I don't know if I'm good.

Would you fold on the river? Problem here is that I think you only get called if you're beat. So your winnings are what's in the pot, and your loses are what's in the pot plus whatever's left in her stack.

This is one of those hands I think you get more money by letting her keep the lead. Does she raise the turn and check the river with QJ/J9, but would call the turn all in with QJ/J9? That's the only way I see that you make more money moving in on the spot, and I don't think it's overly likely.

I let her keep the lead and call a river bet. Lose less when behind, win more most of the time you're ahead.
