care to expound on this ?
doesnt the State Legislature need to ratify any changes. I have seen no mention of this from any online poker news source or local Florida news. I also have not heard of it on my few trips to West Palm Beach and Hollywood poker rooms. I hope you are right thu but Jan.2006 sounds a wee bit optimistic matter of fact the state has tightened up on sng's at pari-mutuals just recently:

Both the pari-mutuals and Indian casinoes were opened by the same mandate a few years back unless the casinoes have finagled something within the state poltically ...it aint going to happen not yet at least.
If limits are opened up in South Floida the games will be absolutely sick. The demographic is perfect-retired and wealthy w/alot of disposable income along with a pretty good ethnic mix. It will look like Los Angeles or AC right after Holdem games first got spread. I would never even think about moving to California or Vegas as I have over the last few years if B&M limits are opened up down here.
