I'm sure this has been posted before, but I'm watching reruns of the 2004 WSOP ME on ESPN2 right now. Doyle Brunson won an all-in with Granny Mae on Day 5 with a board of two [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]'s and a pair of 5's against a pair of 8's and a straight draw. He hit a 5 on the turn and a Q on the river to make his boat and survive the all in. Ahhh, the power of the Granny Mae.

I was not happy! ESPN shunned Granny and had no respect for the hand itself. I was there and I saw the entire hand! Here's how it went (WITHOUT the BS editing from ESPN). This is what they should have shown.
Doyle quickly calls and flips over Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] with only a pair of 5's. He is behind. Doyle's opponent has more chips and laughs at the sight of Doyle's hand.
Doyle looks at him boldly, but rather unemotionally, & says – I’m a lock – that’s Granny F**king Mae!
I am on the rail & yell – “YEAH DOYLE!! GRANNY MAE …. BABY!” Then I rip off all my clothes – wearing only my Granny Mae thong and run around the table.
Security tackles me, cops more than one feel, and escorts me out.
As they were dragging me out – I glance back long enough to see runner-runner boat – Doyle’s says (again, unemotionally) “PWNED! – Some one should make shirts for this hand, it is definitely COACH OF THE YEAR material!”
Never in doubt!
