Your friend is way full of crap , any moron can produce there voice to sound epic , its the ones that can sing it live that really prove there artisits or wanna bes (IE almost any rapper)
I can't just list what's better live vs albulm because the stuff I listen to by default is better Live the on Albulm (Dead, Phish etc etc) But one I will throw in there that might not come up
