I moved up to 5/10 in October/November after being at 3/6 for months. The 5/10 games is more aggressive, particularly preflop. You won't get 3-4 limpers as often as at 3/6, and postflop the players are marginally better.

That being said, its not like there's never unraised pots. There's still plenty of LPs for you to abuse, and I've run across a couple guys playing something like 40/35 if you want to work on fighting a maniac and can stomach the variance. Just mine the hell out of 5/10 before you move up and pay close attention to table selection. I think finding tables you're comfortable with is probably the most important thing to consider when moving from 3/6 to 5/10.
