WUXGA is what you want on the 9300 because that will do something around 1900x1200 and you can 4-table fine and dandy.
You do want more RAM, but DON'T upgrade your RAM through Dell unless there's a special where it's free. Just get the minimum stock, go to
www.crucial.com, and buy new RAM there (512MB min, 1GB if you can swing it). It'll be a lot cheaper and it's really easy to do yourself.
40GB v 60GB by itself won't make a difference as far as applications go. If you want better performance, make sure you get a hard drive with a higher RPM (which in this case is only on the 60GB).
If you're not going to be doing any computer gaming on the laptop other than poker, the base one will work just fine.
Batteries, meh, longer life, but it's just a matter of how much you want to keep it plugged in.
