I don't think putting in 3 bets on the turn against a better hand should be your main concern here. The reason 3betting the flop is better here, imo, is that a lot of times he will take a free card and you lose 1.5BB. You are way ahead of his range and should worry about maximizing value when ahead, not minimizing losses when behind.
