The only way for a squeeze play to work is this:
You have a read on both players, and you suspect that they are both playing weaker hands than they are expected to have in this sort of situation.
Harrington had a classic example...Greg Raymer came over the top of another player in the 2004 WSOP, he knew they were two loose players and he popped them with a big re-raise that would commit Harrington to the pot. They both folded their hands, with Raymer raising with A3s.
Two tight players..Fold.
