Check your user's manual. When my Dell laptop was overheating I needed to open it up and spray some compressed air through the heatsink. After a while it started overheating again so I took the heatsink out and applied new thermal grease to the processor and I haven't had any problems since.

Define overheating? The back part of my computer is hot and I was just wondering if that is normal, or if it is something that is not and is being caused by my datamining. THanks for your help so far.
