What do you make the first time you cook for a girl?
Do you have a standard meal you bust out consistently in these type situations or do you just go with whatever you have available?
My standard line is a NY strip (petite) for the lady and a ribeye for myself, with a hand-tossed salad, garlic mashed potatoes and bread. Throw in a nice bottle or two of wine and you're done. It's simple and good.
