Ugh. I'm having problems. I built my computer about 3 weeks ago and I used
this video card. I already had 2 19" CRTs, but I had only been using one. I had planned on using both once I got the new computer built. I thought the video card came with the adapter, but it didn't. I placed an order for
this adapter Monday, and it showed up today. I opened the box and realized that there are more pins on the adapter than I had seen in the pics on the Newegg website. Specifically, there are 4 pins surrounding the ~3/16" long flat pin. My video card doesn't have 4 holes there. I couldn't find anything in the newegg description or the documentation that came with my video card that indicated that it was anything other than normal DVI, but this adapter isn't going to fit, so I just wasted $7.50, it appears.
How do I connect my second monitor? Is it just a matter of finding the correct adapter? If so, where can I get one?
