this is the real measure of wealth to me. when i think about how much money i have, i don't think about home equity, owned cars, personal belongings, or that sort of thing. i think of bank accounts, stock holdings, and various online money (paypal/neteller/poker). liquid money on request, no protracted sales or negotiation processes.
