Folding here would wrap up a nicely played hand. Though, I think your c-b was a bit much IMO, with an EP+MP PF caller.
- consider why we checked the turn: he called the substantial c-b on the flop...perhaps with a "K". On this non-draw friendly board, a reasonable assumption.
'Suspicious' lead or not, by correctly giving up the lead - we are no longer in a position to proceed. Not unless you can conclude from this lead that villian is holding a non-set'd PP (that doesn't include AA).
A monster hand's value bet? A loose player, trying to ensure a cheap showdown with KQ-? I don't think you can afford to find out.
