Surprising thing was that Hero was actually a big favorite on the flop (44%), and as somebody else stated, close to even money vs. the aces. So getting it all-in on the flop (either via lead/reraise or check-raise) was absolutely the correct move given the dead money in the pot. I count 18 clean outs for Hero.
