Default Changing gears in blind defence.

Vilain is a tight player 20/5/1.5 who has raised me from the SB a couple of times. I am NOT making a stand here cause I think my hand is best but because I think I can get him to lay his down.

Party Poker 3/6 Hold'em (6 max, 5 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is BB with 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
<font color="#666666">3 folds</font>, <font color="#CC3333">SB raises</font>, Hero calls.

If I know I am going to make this move on the flop I will often raise here but opted just to call this time in case I actually did flop a monster!

Flop: (4 SB) 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">SB bets</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises</font>, <font color="#CC3333">SB 3-bets</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero caps</font>, SB calls.

Turn: (6 BB) K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
SB checks, <font color="#CC3333">Hero bets</font>,

If he does not go away after the turn bet then I give it up.

This is a rare move for me and one I make maybe once or twice a 700 hand session only, and only then against a tightish player.

Spewing much?
