Will make a small pf raise with any 2 and says "its to get more money in the pot" I have made him laydown a few hands before where he was waaay ahead. The ideal opponent according to me.)

MP with about $8k in front of him raises to 40.
I call like the tilting idiot i am ,BB calls as well.
3 to the flop Flop is 4 7 2 rainbow. Miracle flop right?
BB checks. Raiser bets $500, (thats how he plays overpairs...dosent want any action after flop).
I raise to $2k(Comments about this raise?).BB folds. Raiser calls.
Turn is Kh(still rainbow)
He bets $3k. My action?
Please no comments about the pf call. Probably the worst call ive ever made.
