Getting ready for my first PLO MTT Tournament
I have been playing a lot of PLO cash games recently, and think I have the basics down. There is a low buy in MTT that I want to give a shot. I have a feeling there will be a lot of PLO newbs in there. I play on pokerroom, and at any given time they only have 1-3 tables of PLO going.
I'm guessing half the field will be regulars from the PLO game, who I am starting to get a read on, and the other half will be a combo of limit Omaha and limit Omaha/8 games, as well as NLHE people who need a fix.
Having said all that, what strategy changes should I make for the tournament?
Should I tigthen up my starting hands? Should I avoid drawing pots with the other PLO regulars as I know they know what they are doing?
How fishy do you think this tournament can be? and how much variance can it ad?
