Default Re: why short term goals are bad

Well to a certain extent the nature of a Goals Thread is tough because the only true goal you should have is to play good poker. I've been struggling for a cash lately but I feel like I'm making smarter decisions. Instead of laying down TPTK near the bubble so I can cash I get aggressive with it and may lose chips gambling versus a flush draw. I also am getting more aggressive in general on the bubble putting myself into position to make a run at the final table. Before I would play for the cash and barely make it into the Top 50.
