Default Re: Pokerroom vs. Party rake analysis at $2/$4 (Pokerrom 73% higher!)

I've watched some tables, and 1/2 to 3/6 are ridiculous now. This was obviously calculated to get the most out of people while trying to fly below the radar. Just observe, the typical fairly tight table at these levels alot of times end up in two situations: either someone takes it down on the flop, and the pot is, "coinicidentally", big enough to rake in almost %8, or a couple people go to showdown, ending up with a pot just big enough to score the maximum rake, which is near %8. Jopke.

Why not just set it up as it really is: For every 12 cents in the pot 1 cent goes to rake, or for every 50 cents, 4 cents go to rake? Straight 8% too blatant?

I guess screwing people out of pokerpoints is a bonus, too.
