Default Re: $11 - QQ, A turns

[ QUOTE ]
Alright, I have a confession to make. I didn't fold the river. Regardless, I loathe the way I played it. If I was going to fold to a river push, I should've folded to the turn bet.

My point exactly. Okay, my take:

On the turn, villain has t600 left. I'd make a bet of ~200 into the pot. Unless he's very tricky, I think you can fold to a push of 400 more. (I wouldn't do this against a tricky or aggressive player who would push on a draw.)

But on an 11, I think that a push over the top of your turn bet is an ace the vast majority of the time.

Now, if it weren't for the draws on board, I usually prefer check - calling a push over pushing myself. If he's got an ace, he's never folding, but you allow him to bluff at you. I don't like my check - call line here because of the presence of draws all over the place.

I know some will disagree, but I would make a bet of 175-200 on the turn. If he pushes for his remaining 400-425, I'd fold against a typical 11 opponent.
