A couple of clarifications.

First off, french cuffs are like the cuffs on a tux shirt. No buttons, you use cuff links. This is pictured in the second link I gave if you cursor over point #3.

Secondly, I guess I was mainly expecting to hear from people who think it's a normal option to wear french cuff shirts with suits. In a number of places, especially NY/Europe/Asia, it is almost standard to wear french cuff shirts with suits. But a lot of people who wear these shirts to work every day think it's crazy to wear them when not wearing a suit. And their head explodes at the idea of a dressy casusal french cuff shirt and jeans.
