Default 1/2 6m - AA HU in on paired board vs. habitual bluffer - SOP???

SOP = "standard operating procedure" for those people like myself until yesterday.

Villain had bluff-raised on every street a bunch of times, and is just generally an idiot.

I didn't particularly want to go to war here, as although villain would often bluff with nothing (usually busted draws or on scary boards), he isn't the type to push marginal made hands (e.g., in this case a K or pp).

Is this the standard line against this sort of player (I was planning on raising a river bet - as it actually played out, I planned on calling a river c/r).

If it makes any difference, villain had earlier bluff-raised the river, and I 3-bet with an overpair. He called with 8-high.
