But you should know that the creators of that commercial have been involved in similar "art projects" for a long time before they got the Honda gig. See for instance their DVD,
"The Way Things Go". I happen to have seen it and it's terrific fun!
(Not done in one take though, as they have openly acknowledged, but, still, wonderfully low-tech stuff -- and with lots of chemistry! Smoke, fire, bangs, the lot.)
