Phil said at the signing, "if you are going to play all the events you need at least 500k for the year"
He has not played much lately due to the book and publicity. He says he will play a lot more tournaments next year because he is no longer the host of Celebrity Poker.
He also mentioned he is going to be on a new show where there is a tournament for average joe players and another for the pros. When it gets down to 4 players in each, they will combine into 1 final table. There will also be instructional segments during the show.
This sounds like a pretty fun show.
