MGM and Wynn generally spread it on weekends and sometimes on weekdays. Neither has a cap on the buy-in. I would say that 5/10 is a big step up from 2/5. Most people buy in for a grand; buying in for 5k is only necessary if you want to cover most/everyone at the table.
