Re: Did I break my brand new 2001FP?
I had what sounds like the exact same problem with the display on my HP ZD7050 laptop. I had hooked up a second monitor and ran it at 1600x1200. Then I shut down and disconnected the 2nd monitor without changing any WinXP settings. The next time I booted my laptop display was corrumpted exactly as OP described. I tried many things to reset it, but so far nothing has worked [img]/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img]
It still will drive a 2nd monitor correctly but the main screen remains corrupted. I'm at a loss for any solution..
Can anybody make any suggestions?
