Re: 10/20 Limit HE, 10 seat Hand - could you have gotten away from it?
Couple of thoughts/questions/comments:
You didn't mention what type of player he was, so the range of hands you could have put him on was infinite...he could be stealing, etc. Would you ever 3-bet to isolate? That way a call/cap gives you a better idea (potentially) of what you're up against.
Flop:
You have top pair with 3rd kicker. C/R. Once again, a 3-bet by the villian gives you a better idea as to whether your behind or ahead.
Turn:
I have nothing new to add here.
River:
I don't understand why the villian didn't re-raise/5-bet...he has the absolute nuts and once its HU it's unlimited raises...he can't have you on 56...not sure if there's a backfood flush.
