Your style should be dictated by the texture of the game and/or that of your opponents.
If you are playing heads up with someone who is almost as likely to fold as he is bluff, then you should adopt a style which becomes more passive in nature. I suspect the difference you are seeing in the big heads-up matches have less to do with what site they are played on and everything to do with how good players adjust to their opponent's tendencies.
