Well, I definitely did not mean to distract from Dave's original point, which I think is a very good one. I'm glad he brought it up.

All I said initially was that making a sweeping generalization that all homeless people are bums is an ignorant thing to do. It is. But whatever, apologies to Dave if I've distracted from the original point of his post. His idea was a very good one, and I hope others follow his lead.
