Default New Goals

Alright, I took the time today to come up with a game plan for my success with limit hold em. I based it on the belief that I can achieve 2BB per hour. If I multitable, I don't see this to be a problem at all. However, if it does become an issue I can adjust. At this point it doesn't matter to me how I achieve that 2BB an hour. Whether it takes one table or eight is fine with me. Just as long as the job is completed I'm happy.

My ultimate goal is to turn my $45 into $10000. And at 2BB an hour, not counting any rakeback, I figure it will take me at least 1175 hours to achieve. If I play poker 23 hours a week I should be able to achieve that in a years time.

23 hours a week is nearly a part time job. But heck, if I added it up I pretty much spend that much time playing poker anyways. I have not computed rakeback in any of htis for if I did I knew I would be blown away by how soon this could happen. I want to keep this as realistic as possible.

I will be having benchmark goals along the way. Basically for each level I move up I am going to treat myself out to my favorite restaurant, Red Lobster. My fiancee can come along too of course, but she's not a big fan of seafood. Now if I don't hit my goal in time, I will still treat myself, however it will be to the restaurant of my fiancee's choice.

There will be 9 benchmark goals in all. One for each level I obtain. The ultimate goal is to play at 10/20 limit.

Here are the levels and time frames which I will strive to accomplish them in:

$.10/$.20 - $60 - 75 hours
$.25/$.50 - $150 - 300 hours
$.50/$1 - $300 - 450 hours
$1/$2 - $600 - 600 hours
$2/$4 - $1200 - 750 hours
$3/$6 - $1800 - 825 hours
$5/$10 - $3000 - 975 hours
$10/$20 - $6000 - 1125 hours

$10,000 - 1175 hours
